About

I'm the Founder and Director of Nepal Digital Systems Pvt. Ltd., an IT firm specializing in emerging and deep technologies. I run the company: engineering direction, product strategy, and business operations, while staying hands-on where it matters.

Right now I'm leading development of the Yeti Industrial IoT Gateway, an enterprise-grade device that bridges industrial equipment (Modbus RTU/TCP, RS-485, CAN) with cloud platforms, with OTA updates and remote monitoring built in. Alongside that, we've shipped products across payment hardware and wireless infrastructure.

Journey

With a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Lomas spent his early career as a hands-on embedded systems and firmware engineer, building real products across industries and continents. Over nearly a decade of professional engineering, spanning his first role at a local firm and years of independent contracts for clients across the USA, Australia, Germany, South Korea, and Canada, he accumulated deep technical ground before making the move into company leadership.

In 2018, he founded Nepal Digital Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Lalitpur. What began as a firmware consulting practice has grown into a multidisciplinary engineering team of 20+ covering firmware, hardware design, cloud infrastructure, and mobile development, shipping connected products for clients across Nepal, the USA, Germany, and beyond.
